Job Description: School of IT Infrastructure Management (SIM) Program

Wipro Technologies has introduced an innovative higher education initiative through the School for IT Infrastructure Management (SIM). This pioneering program offers Diploma holders a unique opportunity to earn a B.Tech in Information Systems from a university recognized as an Institute of Eminence (IoE) by the Government of India, while working as full-time employees at Wipro. The B.Tech degree is fully sponsored by Wipro.

Through this program, Wipro equips Diploma holders with essential platform skills and behavioral training, preparing them to excel in the dynamic world of Information Technology.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Education:

    • 10th Standard: Pass
    • 12th Standard: Pass
    • Diploma: Minimum 50%
  • Year of Passing:

    • 2023, 2024, 2025
  • Qualification:

    • Diploma in:
      • Computer Science
      • Information Technology
      • Electronics
      • Telecommunication
      • Computer Engineering
      • Electronics and Communication
      • Computer Technology
      • Computer Science and Technology
      • Electrical and Electronics Engineering
        Minimum 50% aggregate
  • Additional Criteria:

    • Maximum of 3 years education gap is allowed between 10th and the commencement of the Diploma.
    • Only full-time Diploma courses are eligible (no part-time, correspondence, or distance learning programs).
    • Must have studied Core Mathematics as a subject in Diploma (Business Maths or Applied Maths will not be considered).
    • Open school or distance education is permitted for 10th and/or 12th standards.
    • Maximum of one backlog is allowed during the assessment process, which must be cleared along with the 6th semester.
    • Candidates must be Indian citizens, or hold a PIO/OCI card if holding a foreign passport. Bhutan and Nepal nationals must submit citizenship certificates.
    • Candidates who participated in any Wipro selection process in the last three months are not eligible.
    • Candidates must be 18 years or older at the time of onboarding.

Selection Process

Round 1: Online Assessment (80 minutes)

The assessment comprises four sections:

  1. Verbal: 20 minutes, 20 questions
  2. Analytical: 20 minutes, 20 questions
  3. Quantitative: 20 minutes, 20 questions
  4. Written Communication Test: 20 minutes

Round 2: Business Discussion

A technical and role-based discussion to assess compatibility.

Round 3: HR Discussion

Focused on assessing behavioral and cultural fit.

Round 4: Pre-Skilling Training

Mandatory training before joining.


Service Agreement

  • Duration: 48 months
  • Note: If a candidate leaves the organization within this period, the joining bonus must be repaid on a pro-rata basis.
