About the Role
BRM (Billing and Revenue Management) is a comprehensive revenue management system designed for communications and media service providers. As a Software Developer, you will play a critical role in developing, testing, and certifying the next generation of BRM products. This is an individual contributor (IC1) role, requiring expertise in Java, web client development, DevOps tools, automation, and cloud-native technologies.Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot software programs as part of the BRM product development team.
- Write high-quality Java code and corresponding unit tests.
- Develop web clients using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and implement the MVVM architecture.
- Build and integrate RESTful web services.
- Leverage cloud-native technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes to ensure scalability and efficiency.
- Utilize DevOps tools, including Jenkins, to streamline CI/CD processes.
- Automate testing using tools like Selenium for improved efficiency.
- Collaborate in an Agile environment to deliver features independently based on requirements.
- Enhance existing software architecture while contributing to standard practices and procedures.
- Understand business requirements and deliver solutions with minimal supervision.
- Experience in the billing domain is an added advantage.
Expected Skills & Qualifications
- Strong programming skills in Java with the ability to write high-quality, testable code.
- Proficiency in web client development with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge and experience with MVVM architecture.
- Expertise in building RESTful web services.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Agile methodology.
- Automation experience using tools like Selenium.
- Understanding of cloud-native technologies and observability tools.
