Job Description

Role Overview

As a member of our engineering team, you will analyze, design, code, debug, and refine software applications and products that are integral to end-users in various environments—local, networked, and online. Using modern programming languages and technologies, you will contribute to the entire software lifecycle from writing code to performing tests, debugging applications, and creating documentation for installation and maintenance. There may be occasions to connect with users to understand system requirements and potential modifications.

Management Level

Contributing to projects of limited scope, you will apply technical concepts and knowledge gained through specialized education and experience. As a collaborative team member, you’ll share insights and analysis to support team efforts, exercising judgment within clearly defined parameters.

Responsibilities

• Develop and program updates, enhancements, and changes to segments and subsystems of end-user applications software across various platforms.
• Execute test plans for assigned portions of code; identify, log, and resolve issues through debugging.
• Build understanding and partnerships with both internal and external development partners for software application design and development.
• Collaborate within project teams, including other software engineers and development partners, to create effective, high-quality solutions for low- to moderately-complex products.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Typically 0-2 years of experience in software development.

Skills and Knowledge

• Experience or familiarity with software application design tools and programming languages.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic understanding of software applications across multiple platforms, as well as testing, coding, and debugging processes.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English and, if applicable, the local language.
