Position Overview
The Analyst in Privacy Incident Management will support the U.S. Banks Privacy Risk team, primarily focusing on the first line of defense privacy risk management. Reporting to a local AVP, this role involves overseeing activities related to the collection, use, processing, sharing, and safeguarding of individual client data for U.S. Banks clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the Privacy Risk program to ensure compliance with relevant Privacy Laws and Regulations.
- Participate in Privacy Incident Management by reviewing, analyzing, and accurately tagging privacy incidents that impact U.S. Banks clients. This includes verifying and confirming data loss incidents in the firm’s system of record to ensure accurate tagging when a Banks client is affected.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
- 0-3 years of experience in privacy, audit, or the financial services industry (Analyst level).
- Experience with audits, process evaluations, or gap assessments, with a proven ability to conduct impactful reviews.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and investigative problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to explain and support conclusions from data analysis.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, independently or within a team, under tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English, including the ability to document, explain complex topics, and collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel preferred.
- Familiarity with privacy laws and regulations (state, national, international) and data protection practices is a plus.
