Role Summary:
The Privacy Incident Management Analyst will be part of the U.S. Banks Privacy Risk team, focusing on managing privacy-related incidents affecting U.S. Banks clients within Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management segment. This position reports to a local AVP and plays a crucial role in supporting the first line of defense for privacy risk management. The ideal candidate will help ensure adherence to privacy regulations and oversee activities surrounding the handling of individual client data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Privacy Risk team to support compliance with U.S. Banks privacy regulations and laws.
  • Assist in managing the Privacy Incident Management process, with tasks that include:
    • Reviewing and analyzing reported privacy incidents.
    • Correctly identifying and tagging incidents involving U.S. Banks clients to ensure data loss events are recorded accurately in the firm’s systems.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of professional experience, preferably in privacy, audit, or financial services.
  • Experience conducting detailed reviews, audits, or gap assessments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data accurately.
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English, with an ability to explain complex topics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel as a plus.
  • Knowledge of privacy laws and data protection best practices is preferred.
