Position: Senior Silicon Design Engineer
Role Overview:
As a Senior Silicon Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful verification and performance testing of AMD’s advanced IP designs. You will work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the development of high-quality, industry-leading technologies. This role emphasizes technical innovation, collaboration, and continuous professional growth.
The Ideal Candidate:
You are passionate about complex processor architectures, digital design, and verification. A team player with excellent communication skills, you thrive in collaborative, multi-site environments. You possess strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and a proactive willingness to learn and tackle challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain functional and performance verification tests at the core level.
- Design and build testbench components to support next-generation IP development.
- Enhance and maintain existing test libraries for IP-level testing.
- Create hardware emulation builds to verify functional performance of IP.
- Optimize hardware emulation environments to improve runtime performance and debugging capabilities.
- Provide technical support and expertise to cross-functional teams.
Preferred Experience:
- Programming Expertise:
- Proficiency in C/C++.
- Familiarity with SystemVerilog and modern verification libraries such as UVM.
- Domain Knowledge:
- Experience in computing or graphics systems is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of OpenGL, OpenCL, or Direct3D (D3D) programming is a plus.
Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
