Roles & Responsibilities
- Apply structured problem-solving techniques and use appropriate tools to address complex, open-ended problems, creating analytics solutions or frameworks independently.
- Understand business and product challenges, providing data-driven solutions to address them.
- Conduct root cause analysis and in-depth investigations into specific product issues.
- Manage and maintain the reporting system, presenting insights in a weekly forum.
- Design and build templates and dashboards in Power BI and Google Sheets for both operational and management reporting.
- Extract data for ad hoc analysis based on business needs.
- Analyze business requirements and metrics to align with goals, and explore additional metrics for a comprehensive understanding of product performance.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects of varying complexity.
Desired Skills & Experience
- 1-3 years of experience with large datasets and quantitative analysis.
- Basic understanding of statistics and experience in building statistical models, including hypothesis testing, product experimentation, A/B testing, and regressions.
- Proficiency in SQL and intermediate knowledge of data manipulation languages such as R or Python.
- Previous experience with e-commerce funnels and customer retention.
- Ability to assess product features through business metrics.
- Familiarity with business modeling and financial metrics is a bonus.
- Quick learner with the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
- Strong team player, comfortable collaborating across multiple disciplines.
- Proven ability in designing intuitive dashboards and identifying key metrics, with expertise in Power BI and best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related field from a reputed institution.
